Srinagar, Oct 19 (NVI): Srinagar International Airport has withdrawn restrictions limiting its operational hours to 8 am to 5 pm, paving the way for airlines to plan flight operations beyond 5 pm, subject to operational requirements.

The airport authorities said on Sunday that the earlier restrictions on operations between 8 am and 5 pm had been withdrawn, allowing flights to be scheduled in accordance with the applicable timetable and operational requirements.

The Winter Schedule 2026 will come into effect from October 25, and airlines are in the process of filing slots for late-evening flights to and from Srinagar, an airport spokesperson said.

The move is expected to improve air connectivity to the Kashmir Valley and provide greater flexibility to passengers during the winter season.

Passengers have been advised to check the latest flight status and timings with their respective airlines before leaving for the airport.—(NVI)
