Srinagar stabbing accused arrested : Police

Srinagar, Oct 13 (NVI) : Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday arrested an individual for allegedly stabbing a man during a dispute over vehicle parking near their shops in the Parimpora area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.

An official told NVI that the accused, Zareef Ahmed Mir, son of Ab Raheem Mir, was arrested for allegedly stabbing Amir Razak Mir, son of Ab Razak Mir.

Mir was shifted to SMHS Hospital where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

He said that police have registered an FIR (No. 114/2024) under Section 103 of the BNS at the Parimpora Police Station.

The official also said that the police have recovered the weapon used in the attack.        (News Vibes of India)
