Srinagar, Jan 06(NVI): In a shocking incident today, stray dogs attacked at least 15 people in the old town area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam, leaving the local community in panic.
Eyewitnesses reported that the dogs appeared suddenly and began attacking residents, injuring several individuals.
All the injured were rushed to Budgam District Hospital for treatment, while one critically injured person was referred to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for specialized care. A hospital official confirmed that the critically injured patient required advanced medical attention due to the severity of their wounds.
The incident has prompted residents to demand immediate action to address the growing stray dog menace in the district, calling for urgent measures to ensure public safety. (News Vibes of India)
