New Delhi: India saw a substantial decline in Covid numbers, registering 30,941 new cases in the last 24 hours.
The number is about 11,000 lesser than that recorded in the previous 24 hours.
The country recorded 350 Covid fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Health Ministry said today.
With this increase, the total active cases now are 3,70,640 while the cumulative death toll has gone up to 4,38,560, the ministry said.
Nearly 36,275 patients have recovered in the last 24 hrs, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,19,23,405.
A total of 64,05,28,644 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far.
Yesterday, the country recorded 42,909 COVID-19 cases and 380 deaths in 24 hours.
On Sunday, the country recorded 45,083 fresh COVID-19 cases and 460 deaths in 24 hours.
On Saturday last, the country recorded 46,759 COVID-19 cases and 509 deaths in 24 hours.
On Friday, the country recorded 44,658 new COVID-19 cases and 496 deaths in 24 hours.
On Thursday, the country recorded 46,164 Covid cases and 607 deaths in 24 hours.
On Wednesday, the country recorded 37,593 Covid cases and 648 deaths in 24 hours.
On Tuesday, the country recorded 25,467 COVID-19 cases and 354 deaths in 24 hours.
