Jammu, Dec 12 (NVI): An 18-year-old Pakistani national, Mohd Sadiq, was apprehended by the Indian Army while crossing the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district, Jammu and Kashmir, late Wednesday evening, officials said today
They said the incident occurred near Noorkote village, close to the border fence, where alert troops intercepted the youth. Officials confirmed that he was not in possession of any suspicious or incriminating materials at the time of his apprehension.
Initial investigations suggest that Sadiq may have inadvertently crossed the border. Security agencies are questioning him to ascertain the circumstances and motives behind his actions.(News Vibes of India)
