New Delhi (NVI): Telangana Transport Minister P Ajay Kumar has tested positive for coronavirus today.
The minister said that he is under home isolation and urged everyone who came in contact with him during the recent government programmes to get tested.
He further added that he was doing well and will get back to normal public life soon.
Two days ago, the minister had attended a few government programmes, including the foundation stone laying ceremony for a road expansion project in Khammam; accompanying his colleague Agriculture Minister Niranjan Reddy on a tour of the newly constructed IT Hub.
So far, Telangana has 7,272 active Covid positive cases with 491 new cases reported on Monday. With three deaths recorded in the last 24 hours, the death toll stands at 1,499.
