TTP carries out multiple attacks on Pakistani military, says possibility of large casualties

Peshawar: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) carried out multiple attacks on Pakistani military and paramilitary since yesterday in which there is a strong possibility of numerous casualties and injuries, according to the Islamist organisation.

The Mujahideen of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan blew up a military vehicle with a bomb in Bannu in North Waziristan District yesterday, its spokesman Muhammad Khurasani said today, adding all the soldiers in the vehicle were killed or injured.

The second attack was carried out by a sniper in the Shadat Khel area of ​​Gudiyum district of the same province, in which one soldier was killed and a security camera was also vandalized, he said in a statement.

The TTP Mujahideen also fired 2 missiles at an Army cantonment in Ladha area of Dera Ismail Khan in South Waziristan yesterday, Khurasani said.

The missiles hit the center of the cantonment and there is a strong possibility of loss of lives and assets, he added.

Last night, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Mujahideen stormed the Shengri Frontier Corps post in Bara area of ​Khyber Agency in Peshawar, with a strong possibility of casualties, the spokesman said.

A laser gun was also used in the attack, he said.
