TTP kills 5 Pakistan army men, injures 4

Peshawar: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) killed at least 5 personnel of Pakistan army and seriously wounded 4 in separate attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the day (22nd November), according to the outfit.

The TTP attacked an army post in Sararogha area of Dera Ismail Khan in South Waziristan this evening, its spokesman Muhammad Khurasani said.

In the attack, 2 army personnel were killed and four were seriously injured, he said.

Earlier in the days, TTP carried out a landmine attack on a tanker carrying water for an army post in Gudiyum area of North Waziristan, Khurasani said.

Three army personnel were killed while the vehicle was completely destroyed in the attack, he said.

TTP also carried out an attack on a military installation in Koli Khel area of ​​Mir Ali in Bannu Province, the spokesman said.

TTP used light and heavy weapons and there is a strong possibility of financial and human losses in it, Khurasani said.

The attack was carried out during the intervening night of November 21 and 22.
