Vehicles plying on the crucial Srinagar-Leh Highway, which was thrown open for vehicular traffic from today. The highway, which is the only route between Kashmir and Ladakh, was opened by Border Roads Organisation (BRO). For the first time ever, the strategic highway remained closed for shortest period.
