Srinagar, Aug 5 (NVI): Security forces on Wednesday recovered 45 shells during a joint search operation in the Sheer Colony area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said.
The shells were recovered during a cordon and search operation launched by security forces in the area, the officials said.
According to the officials, preliminary assessment suggests the shells appear to have been found in scrap material.
The recovered shells have been taken into custody for examination, while further investigations are underway to ascertain their origin and other details, they added.(NVI)
