Further dip in Covid cases in India

New Delhi: India reported a further slight dip in Covid numbers today, registering 13,058 single-day cases, which is the lowest in 231 days.
The country saw 164 deaths due to Covid in the last 24 hours, as per the Union Health Ministry.
This has raised the cumulative death toll to 4,52,454.
The total active cases were 1,83,118, which the lowest in 227 days, the ministry said.

Yesterday, the government reported 13,596 single-day cases, which was lower than 14,146 registered the previous day.

The government yesterday also reported 166 Covid deaths in a span of 24 hours.

On Saturday, the government said a total of 15,981 new COVID cases and 166 deaths were registered across India in a span of 24 hours.
The previous day count was 16,862 new single-day COVID cases and 379 deaths.
On Thursday, the government reported 18,987 fresh COVID-19 cases and 246 deaths in the previous 24 hours.

On Wednesday, the country reported 15,823 COVID-19 cases and 226 deaths in 24 hours.

The country recorded 14,313 Covid infections and 181 deaths in 24 hours on Tuesday last.
