Uddhav proves majority in Maha house

    Mumbai (NVI): The Uddhav Thackeray-led government of the Shiv Sena -Nationalist Congress Party-Congress has proved its majority in a floor test in Maharashtra Assembly today. The Government which called itself Maha Vikas Aghadi government got 169 votes.

    The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), with 105 MLAs, staged a walkout before the head count of the members began in the 288-member House. The saffron party said, it was against the “unlawful manner” in which the ministers were sworn in and the House session convened.
