Quetta, Nov 5 (NVI): Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) today claimed to have killed 10 personnel of the Pakistan Army and injured 4 while losing two of its fighters in an attack in Balochistan.

In a statement, it said the freedom fighters of BLA ambushed a convoy of the occupying Pakistan army at Qadirabad in Nushki district of Balochistan late last night.

In the intense gunfight, at least 10 personnel of the Pakistan Army were killed on the spot and 4 were injured, said the statement issued by BLA spokesman Jeeyand Baloch.

“Two veteran BLA fighters fought bravely and accepted martyrdom,” he said, identifying them as Adnan Baloch and Yasir Baloch.

The spokesman said Adnan Baloch was injured by an enemy bullet, but he did not leave his position even in that condition and fought the enemy army for more than an hour, giving his unit a safe way to return.

“During this attack on the occupying forces, another BLA veteran comrade, Yasir Baloch, was also injured in a prolonged duel with the enemy and due to excessive blood loss, he attained the great status of martyrdom,” Jeeyand Baloch said.

Adnan alias Safar Khan was a student of International Relations who had joined the Baloch Liberation Army in early 2023, he said.

27-year-old Yasir Baloch Zehri alias Master Safar Khan was a mechanical engineer before he joined the BLA in 2018 and served in the civil and mountain fronts against national slavery, the spokesman said.

He said Yasir Baloch participated in many important battles on the fronts of Bolan, Nagaho and Shorparud (Qalat) and played a prominent role in defeating the enemy army.
