Srinagar, May 25 (NVI): Fresh spells of thundershowers are expected to affect parts of Jammu and Kashmir during the afternoon and evening hours on Monday, while the plains of Jammu are likely to remain largely dry under continued hot weather conditions, according to a weather advisory.
The advisory warned of intense showers, hailstorms and gusty winds at isolated places during the period, urging orchardists to avoid spraying operations on Monday.
It said orchard spraying would be more suitable during morning hours on May 26 and 27.(NVI)
