Srinagar, June 16 (NVI): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday met several legislators at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar and reviewed various constituency-related issues, developmental requirements and public welfare concerns.
During the meetings, the legislators apprised the Chief Minister of key issues affecting their respective constituencies and sought government intervention in matters related to development, public services and infrastructure.
Among those who met the Chief Minister were legislators Iftikhar Ahmad, Rafiq Ahmad Naik, Hasnain Masoodi, Javed Reyaz Bedar, Khursheed Ahmad Sheikh, Arjun Singh Raju and Ghulam Ahmad Mir.
Officials said the Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to the legislators and assured them that the concerns raised would be examined and addressed in a time-bound manner.
The interactions are part of the government’s ongoing efforts to remain engaged with public representatives and ensure prompt resolution of issues concerning people across Jammu and Kashmir.—(NVI)
