Srinagar, Aug 26 (NVI): Five terror associates were arrested and arms and ammunition recovered during a joint search operation in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, officials said.
The operation was conducted in the Bugam Orchard area by Kulgam Police, Army’s 9 Rashtriya Rifles and the 18th Battalion of the CRPF, they said.
Four 9mm pistols, four magazines, 22 rounds of ammunition and two hand grenades were recovered during the operation, according to officials.
Further investigation is underway, they said.(NVI)
