Reasi, Sep 14 (NVI): Two people were killed and seven others injured after a passenger Matador overturned near the Bakkal Tunnel area of Reasi district on Monday, officials said.
The Matador, bearing registration number JK14B-2973, was travelling from Bakkal towards Reasi when the accident occurred, they said.
The vehicle overturned on the road near the tunnel, leaving several passengers injured. Following the accident, police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Two persons died in the accident, while seven others sustained injuries, officials said.
Police have initiated necessary proceedings and further details are awaited.(NVI)
