Srinagar, Sep 21 (NVI) : Pulwama Police on Monday conducted a joint mock drill with the CRPF at District Police Lines (DPL) Pulwama to assess the preparedness of security personnel and improve coordination between the forces, officials said.
Personnel of CRPF’s 182 and 183 battalions participated in the exercise, which was conducted under the supervision of the DySP, DAR Pulwama, they said.
The drill focused on assessing the response mechanisms, coordination and operational readiness of the participating personnel to deal with any unforeseen situation, officials said.
The exercise was conducted smoothly and concluded successfully, providing an opportunity to strengthen coordination and response capabilities for handling emergent situations, they added.—(NVI)
