New Delhi (NVI): An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter Scale jolted Jammu and Kashmir today, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).
The earthquake hit the Union Territory at around 12 pm at a depth of 10 km from the surface.

There were no immediate reports of any loss of life or damage to property due to the earthquake.
Earlier in the day, light intensity earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter Scale hit the Union Territory of Ladakh.
The tremor occurred at 2.14 am at a depth of 10 kilometers, according to NCS data.
