Quetta: The Baloch Raaji Aajoi Sangar (BRAS), an umbrella organization of Baloch freedom-seeking armed groups, today claimed to have killed 3 operatives and injured 5 others of the so-called ‘death squad’ of the Pakistani intelligence agencies.

BRAS spokesperson Baloch Khan said his organization received information about the presence of the operatives of the ‘death squad’ in Kalkoor area of Panjgur

Upon this, the fighters of BRAS took immediate action and attacked the said operatives at the place of Karki in Kalkoor.

Three death squad operatives – Nasir, Jamal and Ishaq – were killed on the spot in the attack, Baloch Khan said.

The ‘death squads’ are dreaded non-uniformed agents of Pakistani agencies who regularly kill Baloch people or abduct them to make them victims of ‘Enforced Disappearances’ whose whereabouts are never known after abduction.

The spokesperson added that during the attack on July 25, the gunship helicopters of the occupying Pakistan Army resorted to shelling to save the death squad workers, but they failed to damage the commanders and save their workers.
