Quetta, July 23 (NVI) Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) tonight claimed to have killed 7 Pakistani Army commandos and injured many others while losing its 4 fighters in 3-day clashes with the occupying military in Noshki district of Balochistan.
The clashes took place after the occupying military launched a large-scale offensive in the mountain range of Noshki on July 19, BLA spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said in a statement.
The enemy was supported by helicopters and drones in this offensive, he said.
To stop enemy advances, BLA freedom fighters put up effective resistance and attacked different locations, he said.
During this military offensive that lasted 3 days, close-quarter combat began between freedom fighters and enemy army at Sheshari location in the afternoon, which lasted for two days, the BLA spokesman said.
“During the resistance, 7 enemy commandos were eliminated and many were injured,” he said.
“In the fierce clashes, four freedom fighters — Commander Chairman Sufyan Kurd, Fidayee Rashid Buzdar, Sangat Nabeel Badini and Sangat Khalid Farooqi Muhammad Hassani — were martyred while fighting bravely,” the spokesman said.
“Baloch Liberation Army salutes its great martyrs who sacrificed their lives and set unforgettable examples of resistance in the face of enemy aggression.
“These sacrifices are clear evidence that the occupying state, despite all its technology, air power and military superiority, has failed to crush the Baloch nation’s struggle for liberation,” the spokesman said.
“BLA makes it clear that every aggression of the enemy will be responded to with greater intensity and wisdom than before. BLA freedom fighters will continue the mission of their martyred comrades and it is our unwavering determination to bring this struggle for Baloch national liberation to its logical conclusion,” Jeeyand Baloch said.
