Quetta (Balochistan): Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) carried out a major operation in Pishin district of Pakistan-occupied Balochistan, seizing control of a town and destroying police and government assets of Pakistan on Thursday evening.

“The freedom fighters of Baloch Liberation Army gained complete control over Saranan town in Pishin,” said a statement issued tonight by its spokesman Jeeyand Baloch.

He said the BLA fighters took control of the police station and government buildings.

During the operation, several police personnel were taken into custody and were subsequently released, he said.

After seizing a large quantity of arms and ammunition from the police station, the building was destroyed in an explosion.

As the operation is still underway, the spokesman said further details regarding this will be released to the media later. (NVI)
