Jammu, Jan 03 ( NVI): Advocate Kanav Sharma, president of the Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha (BJP’s youth wing) and son of senior BJP leader Chander Mohan Sharma, was injured in a shooting incident today in the New Plot area of Jammu.
Preliminary reports suggest the shooting was triggered by a parking dispute. Unidentified assailants opened fire on Sharma, leaving him injured. He was initially rushed to Sarwal Hospital for emergency treatment and later referred to the Government Medical College Jammu for specialized care.
Police have launched an investigation to identify the attackers and determine the exact motive. “We are gathering evidence and exploring all angles,” officials confirmed.
