In an intelligence-based operation, BLA fighters raided a police station in Nasirabad, Turbat, Kech last night, to target “a network of informants of the occupying Pakistani army based in disguise”, its spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said.
The BLA fighters detained the in-charge of the police station and others after a firefight in which a policeman was killed, the spokesman said.

One person got injured while trying to flee, he said.
“The said enemy operatives were working on the pay roll of the occupying Pakistani army in Turbat city and Gurdwanah while staying in the local police station at night,” the BLA spokesman said.
In this raid, the BLA fighters also confiscated the weapons of the policemen.
“The Baloch Liberation Army makes it clear to the police and Levies that they should avoid being an obstacle in front of the Baloch National Liberation Movement on the authority of the occupying army and secret agencies, as they are local people,” the spokesman said.
He said such people have been spare so far by the Baloch freedom fighters but “if they do not give up their Baloch-killing activities, they will also be targeted directly like the occupying forces.”
Meanwhile, last evening at Asr, Baloch Liberation Army commanders attacked a central camp of the occupying Pakistani army in Johan area of Kalat with heavy weapons when the vehicles of the enemy army reached the main gate, Jeeyand Baloch said.
At least two personnel were injured in the attack by the Sarmachars while the personnel in the security posts also suffered casualties.
