Ponytale Books, a reputed name in publishing for children and young adults has come out with a very interesting collection of stories wherein Mummies are telling tales about their childhood aptly entitled When Mommy was a little girl. Interesting, isn’t it?

Stories in this collection take the readers on a journey to the distant past when the writers were kids themselves.

The readers get to know about how their mommies could be like during those days when the life was very different from what it is today.

The stories answer to many such queries which every child must be curious about but hesitates to ask their mommies ; Did she ever get caught while stealing something? How did she spend her leisure time? Was she an active girl participating in outdoor activities or remained lost in dreams? Did she wear her mother’s dresses and sport a lipstick when she was out for a work or walk?

This anthology brings alive childhood of our Mommies as the writers recollect the actual incidents that took place in their lives or they heard from others.

These include pranks they played on near and dear ones, rivalries they had with their brothers and sisters as also love they possessed and companionship they shared with them. Were they a goody goody child or a naughty one always up to some mischief?
