New Delhi: India witnessed a dip in single-day Covid cases, with 6,594 fresh cases being registered in the last 24 hours, against 8,084 cases reported during the preceding 24 hours.
The country registered six fatalities in a day yesterday, taking the cumulative death toll to 5, 24,777, Union Health Ministry said today.
The active caseload stood at 50,548.
Nearly 4,035 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours, taking cumulative recoveries to 4,26,61,370, it said.

Yesterday, the country registered 8,084 cases and 10 deaths in the last 24 hours.
A day prior to that, the country reported 8,582 fresh Covid cases and 4 deaths in 24 hours.
The country reported 8,329 new cases during the preceding 24 hours.
At least 10 deaths due to Covid were also registered during that period.

On Friday last, the government reported 7,584 fresh Covid cases and 24 deaths in a span of 24 hours.
A day prior to that, the country reported 7,240 cases and 8 fatalities in 24 hours.
