Srinagar, August 19: The city of Srinagar witnessed a vibrant and spiritual celebration of Raksha Bandhan (Shrawan Poornima) today, as thousands of devotees gathered at the historic Shankaracharya Temple.

The temple, perched on the Shankaracharya Hill, was thronged by people of all ages and backgrounds, who came to mark the auspicious festival with devotion and fervor.

In the early hours of the morning, devotees began arriving in large numbers, many with their families, to offer prayers to Lord Shiva.
