New Delhi (NVI): A exam pattern of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), 2021, allegedly issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) is circulating on various social media platforms.
The fake document shows detailed marking pattern for different subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology.
Debunking the claims, the government’s Press Information Bureau (PIB) Fact Check wing dismissed the document as fake and clarified that the no such document was released by the National Testing Agency.
“Several posts claiming that @DG_NTA has released the exam pattern of NEET2021 are doing the rounds on social media.
PIBFactCheck: This exam pattern is Fake & not released by NTA. For updates, visit the NTA’s official website,” the PIB tweeted.

According to the NTA notification, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to undergraduate medical courses will be conducted on August 1.
The exam will be conducted in 11 languages, including Hindi and English, through offline mode.
PIB launched this fact-checking unit in December last year, to curb such misinformation and viral fake news related to government’s schemes and policies that are circulated on social media platforms.
