Farooq Abdullah reaffirms NC’s pledge for Safe, Dignified Return of Kashmiri Pandits

Srinagar, Dec 02(NVI): National Conference (NC) president Dr. Farooq Abdullah today underscored his party’s unwavering commitment to facilitating the dignified return of Kashmiri Pandits to their homeland.

Talking to media after his return from the Umrah pilgrimage, Dr. Abdullah stated that the NC has always stood for the rights, safety, and rehabilitation of the displaced Pandit community, who were forced to leave the Kashmir Valley during the tumultuous 1990’s.

He said the urgent need to create an environment of peace and trust in the valley ensuring the safety of the returning families while promoting communal harmony.

Dr. Abdullah expressed hope for a future where the valley’s diverse communities could once again coexist harmoniously, sharing the heritage that defines Kashmir’s essence.

The NC leader also urged the government to take meaningful steps toward rebuilding trust and addressing the concerns of the displaced community, reaffirming his party’s role in championing this cause. (News Vibes of India)
