New Delhi: India recorded 41,157 fresh COVID-19 cases and 518 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this increase, the total number of active coronavirus cases in the country has gone up to 4,22,660 while the cumulative death toll has reached 4,13,609.
Nearly 42,004 patients have recovered in the last 24 hrs, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,02,69,796, the Health Ministry said.
The cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country stands at 40,49,31,715, it said.
Yesterday, the country recorded 38,079 fresh COVID-19 cases and 560 deaths in 24 hours.
On Friday, the country recorded 38,949 fresh COVID-19 cases and 542 deaths in 24 hours.
On Thursday, the country recorded 41,806 fresh COVID-19 cases and 581 deaths in 24 hours.
On Wednesday, the country recorded 38,792 new COVID-19 cases and 624 deaths in 24 hours.
On Tuesday, the country reported 31,443 fresh COVID-19 cases, the lowest in 118 days.
On Monday, the country recorded 37,154 fresh COVID-19 cases and 724 deaths in 24 hours.
