New Delhi: India recorded 43,509 fresh COVID-19 cases and registered 38,465 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
The government, however, did not provide figures of any deaths that may have occurred due to Covid during the last 24 hours.
With this increase, the total number of active coronavirus cases in the country has gone up to 4,03,840 and the total number of recoveries reach 3,07,01,612 the Health Ministry said.
Nearly, 45.02 crores of vaccine doses administered in the country so far.
The weekly positive rate and daily positive rate remain below 5%, the weekly positive rate stands at 2.38% and the daily positive rate at 2.52%, it said.
Yesterday, the country recorded 43,654 COVID-19 cases and 640 deaths in 24 hours.
On Tuesday, the country recorded 29,689 COVID-19 cases and 415 deaths in 24 hours.
On Monday, the country recorded 39,361 COVID-19 cases and 416 deaths in 24 hours.
On Sunday, the country recorded 39,742 COVID-19 cases and 535 deaths in 24 hours.
On Saturday last, the country recorded 39,097 COVID-19 cases and 546 deaths in 24 hours.
On Friday last, the country recorded 35,342 COVID-19 cases and 483 deaths in 24 hours.
