New Delhi: India recorded 51,667 new COVID19 cases and 1,329 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.
With this increase, the total Covid death toll has gone up to 3,93,310 while the cumulative active cases are 6,12,868.
According to the data available, nearly 64,527 patients have been discharged in the last 24 hrs, taking the total number of recovered cases to 2,91,28,267.
Yesterday, the country registered 54,069 new COVID-19 cases and 1,321 deaths in 24 hours.
On Wednesday, the country reported 50,848 new COVID cases and 1,358 deaths in 24 hours.
On Tuesday, the country reported 42,640 Covid cases, which was the lowest in 91 days.
The single-day deaths reported on that day were 1,167.
On Monday, the country reported 53,256 new cases, the lowest single-day Covid figure in 88 days and 1422 single day deaths reported.
