India reports lowest single-day Covid cases in 88 days

COVID-19 threatens people with heart diseases, as winter hints at a second wave
New Delhi: India reported the lowest single-day Covid figure in 88 days today, with 53,256 new cases being recorded along with 1422 deaths in the last 24 hours.
With this increase, the total death toll in the country due to coronavirus has gone up to 3,88,135 while the cumulative active cases are 7,02,887.
Yesterday, after 81 days, the count of fresh Covid cases in India dropped below 60,000, with 58,419 single-day cases being reported in 24 hours along with 1576 deaths.
On Saturday, the country recorded 60,753 new Covid cases and 1,647 deaths in 24 hours.

On Friday, India recorded 62,480 new COVID19 cases and 1,587 deaths in 24 hours.

A day earlier, the country registered 67,208 new COVID-19 cases and 2,330 deaths in 24 hours.

On Wednesday, the country recorded 62,224 fresh COVID-19 cases and 2542 deaths in 24 hours.

On Tuesday, the country reported 60,471 new cases along with 2726 deaths in a span of 24 hours.
