New Delhi (NVI): The administrative council of Jammu and Kashmir on October 25 approved the creation of 105 new posts for the efficient functioning of Special Correctional Home Pulwama, District Jails of Kupwara and Kargil.
The State Administrative Council (SAC) which met under the chairmanship of Governor, Satya Pal Malik has accorded sanction to the creation of 35 each posts in Special Correctional Home Pulwama, District Jail Kupwara and District Jail Kargil, according to the Department of Information and Public relations.
These posts include one posts each of Jail Superintendent, Deputy Jail Superintendent, Assistant Surgeon, Medical Assistant, Lab Assistant, Teacher, Accounts Assistant, Head Assistant, Senior Assistant, Warder Driver, Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter, Dhobi, Barber, Cook, Orderly and Nursing Orderly.
Besides, the administration has also created three posts of Head Warder, ten of warder and two of Junior Assistant and Jail Safaiwala.
These new posts will improve the functioning and management of the Special Correctional Home Pulwama and the District Jail Kupwara and District Jail Kargil.
