Srinagar (NVI): Two youths from Kashmir’s Ganderbal were prevented from joining militancy and brought back to their families, a senior J&K Police official said today.

Khalil Poswal, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Ganderbal in a tweet today said that Ganderbal police succeeded in bringing the two youths hailing from Batwina and Kurhama who had left home to join terrorism. He said that their parents were not even aware of their wards’ intentions to join militancy.

“Ganderbal Police succeeded in bringing back two youth hailing from Batwina and Kurhama, Ganderbal who had left home to join terrorism. Parents unaware about their clandestine activities,” SSP Khalil Poswal tweeted.

The senior police officer also urged parents to come forward and bring any such activity of their wards to the notice of police so that the youths can be properly counselled and helped to lead a normal life.
