Srinagar, Aug 28 (NVI): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday extended greetings and best wishes to the people of the Union Territory on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
The Office of the Lieutenant Governor conveyed heartfelt greetings to the people, wishing them happiness and well-being on the auspicious occasion.
“Heartiest greetings and best wishes to all on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan,” the LG’s office said in a post on X.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also greeted the people of Jammu and Kashmir and said the festival celebrates the cherished bond of love, trust and mutual respect between siblings.
He expressed hope that the occasion would bring happiness, peace and prosperity to every household and further strengthen unity and harmony across Jammu and Kashmir.(NVI)
