LG Manoj Sinha Interacts With NCC Cadets at Special National Integration Camp in Srinagar

Srinagar, May 24 (NVI): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday interacted with NCC cadets participating in a Special National Integration Camp here and said the youth must uphold the values of unity, discipline and patriotism to help build a stronger India.

Addressing cadets from across the country at the camp organised by the NCC Directorate Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh, Sinha said the camp symbolises the spirit of India where young people are not only witnessing history but also shaping it.

He said India places immense trust in its youth and expects the younger generation to take the country to greater heights by living the ideals of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and spreading them across communities.

Highlighting India’s diversity, the Lieutenant Governor said the country’s strength lies in transforming diversity into unity and weaving different cultures into one national spirit.

He urged the cadets to use the leadership qualities and values learnt during the camp for the betterment of society and to carry forward the spirit of patriotism with responsibility and dedication.

Sinha said NCC cadets represent both the present strength and future of the country and noted that India’s youth are equipped to face global challenges with confidence and capability.

Referring to the NCC motto “Unity and Discipline”, he asked the cadets to work towards promoting harmony, resolving social issues through dialogue and contributing towards the vision of a developed India.

The event also featured cultural performances by NCC cadets depicting the country’s rich cultural diversity. Around 340 cadets and NCC officers from different parts of the country are participating in the camp.

Among those present on the occasion were Lieutenant General Virendra Vats, Lieutenant General Balbir Singh, Major General Anupinder Bevli, Major General Abhijit Mitra, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg, SSP Srinagar GV Sundeep Chakravarthy and Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Akshay Labroo.(NVI)
