New Delhi (NVI): The Maharashtra government today said that night curfew would be imposed across the state from Sunday (March 28) in the wake a rapid rise in Covid-19 cases.
As per the latest order, shopping malls will be closed from 8 pm to 7 am.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said that stricter restrictions would be imposed if people did not follow COVID-19 safety rules.
The order comes on a day when the state recorded 36,902 new Covid-19 cases, the highest single-day spike for any state in the country so far.
