Quetta: Pakistani military has detained and is holding captive dozens of women and children in Sibi area of Balochistan, leader of a prominent Baloch group said today, seeking intervention of UN and international human rights bodies.

The Pakistani military has also unleashed aggression in Bolan area, killing shepherds, burning their huts and looting livestock, said Dr Allah Nazar Baloch, Founder of Baloch Students Organization – Azad.

“We appeal the human rights organizations to raise their voice for the plight of Baloch and call on the @UN to put sanctions against Pakistan, as they have conditioned their financial assistance with human rights, and declare #Balochistan a conflict zone,” Allah Nazar added.
