In the same district, TTP also carried out two attacks — one using a Grenad launcher and another using a missile — on military camps in Hasukhel and Shamikhel, respectively, in Mir Ali Tehsil, he said.

A military convoy coming to the aid of the police station was also ambushed by TTP fighters, due to which the convoy’s progress was stopped, he said.
The captured police station building was then set on fire by the TTP men and reduced to ashes.
In this attack, TTP recovered a large amount of weapons and other equipment from the enemy, Khorasani said.
The seized items included 18 Kalashnikov rifles, 3 light Kalashnikov rifles, 3 NG-1 rifles, 1 guerrilla machine gun, 3 rocket launchers, 1 Russian sniper rifle, 3 night vision lasers, 3 pistols, 30 rocket launcher shells, 33 boxes of NG-1 bullets, 6 boxes of Kalashnikov bullets, 116 Kalashnikov magazines and 3 Vehicles.

He said the TTP had attacked the said post several times earlier but it was completely destroyed in a successful missile attack yesterday.
Khorasani also said that “the cowardly (Pakistan) army carried out a drone attack on a house in Tendo Tandoori village of Sadda district of Kurram province on Sunday night, in which 4 members of the family were martyred and eight were injured.”
