TTP says it killed 6 Pakistani soldiers

Peshawar: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) today killed 6 Pakistani soldiers, including a Captain of Frontier Corps (FC), in two major attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to the outfit.

“Today, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Mujahideen stormed the FC check post in Dahan Sar area of ​​District Shirani of Zhob province,” its spokesman Muhammad Khurasani said.

As a result of the attack, 4 FC personnel, including Captain Saeed, were killed, he added in a statement.

“In this operation, one of our colleagues, Mutawakwal, also lost his life,” the TTP spokesman said.

In the afternoon, mujahideen of TTP killed 2 Pakistan Army personnel in a sniper attack on Bannu road in Bannu district, he said in a separate statement.

Khurasani also said that a raid by security forces on TTP center this morning in Kalachi of Dera Ismail Khan province had failed.

However, in the attack, “3 of our companions Darwish, Ikramullah and Saud Taqbalhamullah also lost their lives”, TTP spokesman said.

Earlier, last night, the TTP killed 2 persons, saying they were spying for the Pakistani military.

“Last night, Mujahideen of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) killed Amiri, who was spying for Military Intelligence (MI) in district Nooring of Wilayat Bannu and took his gun,” Khurasani said.

“This person left the ranks of the Mujahideen some time ago and surrendered to the army and while spying for them, martyred one of our Mujahideen comrades,” the TTP spokesman said.

In a separate attack in Bagan area of ​​Kurram Agency in Kohat Province last night, mujahideen of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan killed a person who was spying for MI, Khurasani said.
