Srinagar, Aug 28 NVI: Awami National Conference (ANC) vice president and son of Former CM G.M.Shah, Muzaffar Shah today announced that he will contest from Habba Kadal Assembly seat.
Shah said his party ANC, has forged an alliance with the former Ganderbal MLA Ishfaq Jabbar’s J&K United Movement.
Addressing media men in Srinagar, Shah said that ANC and J&KUM will contest jointly on 20 to 22 seats as talks are in a final stage. “We are in touch with Ishfaq Jabbar and will field candidates on at least 20 to 22 seats,” he said. Shah said that ANC and J&K UM will jointly campaign in Ganderbal, Kangan, Srinagar and Budgam in the days ahead.
“I will be contesting from Habba Kadal Assembly seat,” he said. Shah will fight against Ashok Bhat of BJP and Shameema Firdous of National Conference. PDP has fielded Arif Liagaroo from the seat. (News Vibes of India)
