New Delhi (NVI): The winter session of parliament has begun today and it will have 20 sittings to discuss over issues of economic slowdown, rising unemployment and the lockdown in Jammu and Kashmir among other matters.
The government plans to bring the Citizenship (Amendment), Bill along with the conversion of two crucial ordinances into the law, said reports.
On the first day of the 250th session of Rajya Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed media and hoped for constructive debates on ways to empower citizens and furthering India’s development.
