Quetta: Unleashing a new phase of atrocities against the Baloch people, Pakistani forces have been carrying out enforced disappearances of people ranging from infants to intellectual and educated youth in Balochistan.
In the worst form of oppression, the Pakistani forces a few days back forcibly took away a new-born baby.
“Pakistan, the occupier with its colonial policies, hates education and educated Baloch,” tweeted Allah Nizar Baloch, Founder of Baloch Students Organisation-Azad (BSO-A).
“The recent wave of disappearing educated Baloch youth is a heinous crime and proof that since the day one Pakistan is intimidating the Baloch intelligentsia while turning schools, colleges and campuses into military camps,” he added.
The Baloch leader said that “the assassination of the author of twenty books’ Prof Saba Dashtyari, Prof Razzak Baloch, Dr. Dawood Baloch and thousands of teachers and students shows the monstrous intentions of the state curbing progressive thinking and intellectual growth.”

Enforced disappearances is a term used for abduction of Baloch civilians by the Pakistani forces in Balochistan, which is under illegal occupation of Pakistan.
Over decades, Balochistan has witnessed enforced disappearances of tens of thousands of its civilians and most of them are never seen again, nor are their whereabouts known ever again.
