Jammu, June 4 (NVI): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday reviewed the situation following a cloudburst in Bathoi village of Reasi district and directed officials to provide immediate relief and assistance to the affected families.
According to officials, several houses were damaged in the cloudburst-triggered incident in Bathoi village. However, no loss of life or injuries were reported.
The Lieutenant Governor said he spoke to the Deputy Commissioner of Reasi to assess the situation on the ground and instructed the district administration to ensure prompt relief measures for those affected.
Authorities have begun assessing the damage caused by the cloudburst and are extending necessary assistance to residents. Officials said the administration is closely monitoring the situation and taking steps to support the affected families.
The cloudburst struck the village earlier in the day, damaging a number of residential structures and prompting an immediate response from the district administration. (NVI)
