Udhampur, Sep 23 (NVI) : Air Chief Marshal AP Singh on Wednesday visited the Northern Command theatre to review the prevailing operational environment and preparedness of the armed forces, officials said.
The Chief of Air Staff (CAS) was briefed by Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command, at the command headquarters on key operational dynamics and ongoing initiatives to enhance inter-service synergy for effective execution of multi-domain operations, they said.
Singh expressed confidence in the operational capabilities of the forces and highlighted the synergy and jointness between the Western Air Command and Northern Command at strategic and tactical levels, according to a statement issued by the Defence Ministry.
He complimented all ranks for their commitment towards safeguarding national interests, it said.—(NVI)
