New Delhi: Omicron cases in India have increased to 213 while the overall Covid figure in the country was reported to be 6,317 during the last 24 hours along with 318 deaths.
According to the Health Ministry, the total number of Omicron positive patients in Delhi has now risen to 57.
The country’s active cases now stand at 78,190, which is the lowest in 575 days days.
The cumulative death toll across the country has reached 4,78,325, the ministry said.
Around 6,906 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 3,42,01,966.
The vaccination figure has reached 1,38,95,90,670 across the country with inoculating 57,05,039 beneficiaries in the last 24 hours, it said.
Yesterday, the country reported 5,326 fresh Covid cases, which was the lowest single-day figure in 581 days, and 453 covid fatalities in 24 hours.
The country reported 6,563 fresh Covid cases and 132 fatalities in 24 hours, a day earlier.
A day prior to that, the country reported 7,081 fresh Covid cases and 264 fatalities in 24 hours.
During the previous 24 hours, the country reported 7,145 fresh Covid cases and 289 deaths.
