Srinagar, Oct 17 (NVI): Security forces foiled an alleged infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Jumgund area of Keran sector in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday morning, officials said.
A brief exchange of fire was reported after suspicious movement was detected in the area, sources said.
A search operation was underway to ascertain the details, while an official confirmation from the Army was awaited.—(NVI)
