New Delhi (NVI): A massive fire broke out at an Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) plant in Gujarat’s Surat early this morning.
According to the reports, three consecutive blasts took place at two terminals of the Hazira-based ONGC plant in Surat at around 3 am.
Fire tenders were rushed to the spot. The company said that the fire has been brought under control and no casualty has been reported so far.
“A fire was observed in the Hazira Gas processing plant in the morning today. Fire has been brought under control. There is no casualty or injury to any person,” tweeted ONGC.

Reportedly, multiple blasts took place at the ONGC plant, leading to the massive fire. However, reason of the fire was yet to be ascertained.
