Katra (J&K) (NVI): Targeting the separatist leaders, Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik on October 22 said they were misguiding the youth of the valley to tread the path of terrorism while keeping their own wards away in safe zones.

“Not a single ward of these so called religious or political leaders, be it of Hurriyat or mainstream has died in terrorism related cases, and instead are studying or well-settled outside the valley,” he said adding “It is the ordinary youth of the valley who are being misguided to give their lives in the name of attaining paradise.”

Addressing the convocation ceremony of Mata Vaishno Devi University, he said that this has been the phenomenon all along in the valley and time has come that people of Jammu and Kashmir to defeat the nefarious designs of the separatists.

“The government is committed that people of the valley come forward and embrace the path of progress and prosperity,” he added.
